Johnson & Associates Consulting

Johnson & Associates is a niche consulting firm specializing in the suite of Hyperion Products.  When I started consulting about 16 years ago I was intrigued with how quickly business solutions could be developed.  After working for a few consulting firms, I decided I could make a much greater impact at clients if I was not hampered by the organizational inefficiencies of a large national consulting firm.  Through the years I have formed relationships with a few dozen experts as myself, each with expertise in their own focused areas.  I learned early on that I couldn't be the expert in everything.  My stated expertise is in Hyperion Planning and Essbase.  There are a few of us out there that are always looking for work.  One thing that I try to keep in mind is to keep my ego in check.  We've all worked with consultants from time to time that do not know how to listen and who don't keep the line of communication open during the project. 

It is this ability to leverage these informal relationships that provide me the resources to handle any project that has come my way so far.

Having spent time in the corporate world, as well as time implementing ERP systems, I have learned the value of a properly designed reporting solution.  While using the Hyperion Suite of products for the past 16 years, I have been able to transform budgeting and reporting at many of this country's fortune 500 companies.  Each project exposes me to new challenges, which I have been able to overcome by applying solutions developed from my previous projects in addition to technical partners upon which I have formed a relationship.
